About the Author
Yvonne and her partner Alan have explored widely by 4WD in Australia and Africa over many years. Yvonne does the research, takes the photos and writes the stories, while Alan is the driver, problem solver and map maker.
The treks in this book were driven in our capable stock 2018 4WD Ford Everest, with all terrain tyres. We like to keep things simple and our camping gear lightweight, usually travelling without a trailer. We always carry recovery gear including a silky saw, winch and recovery tracks.
