We acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land that we live and walk on, the Gumbaynggirr people, and pay our respects to Elders past and present. The First Nations of Australia have been walking on and caring for Country for thousands of years.

Discover your next adventure

Do you want to explore the beaches and mountains, parks and forests from Port Macquarie to the Coffs Coast and beyond?  The mighty Clarence, Hastings, Bellinger, Nambucca or Macleay River valleys, or the hinterland to the New England tablelands?

Are you looking for a fun self-guided walk with your children, a dog walk, or a cafe walk with your friends? Maybe you want to challenge your fitness with a big hill climb or multi-day hike? Go for a 4WD tour or an adventure motorcycle ride in wild places?

We believe that immersion in nature and telling stories is how we understand the world around us.  Exploring deepens our appreciation of our beautiful country and builds support for conservation of the environment. We encourage you to walk softly, ride carefully, and leave no trace.

Please read these first, before accessing trail information or downloading GPX data from Coffs Trails:

Walking groups on the Coffs Coast

If you don’t want to walk alone, and are searching for a walking group or bushwalking club to join on the Coffs Coast, try Coffs Hikers.

Coffs Hikers are a local Coffs Harbour bushwalking group with a vibrant program of regular day walks, overnight walks and campouts. New members are welcome.

Coffs Hikers are an incorporated not for profit association, affiliated with Bushwalking NSW, and insured so their leaders and members are covered.

About us

We love getting out and about in nature. When we need to go faster or further than our feet can carry us, we enjoy responsible touring on our adventure motorcycles or four wheel drive.

We have personally walked or ridden all trails on this website, all GPX tracks, writing and photos are our own.

You can find other stories written by Yvonne in magazines such as Great Walks and Traverse, and online at Motorbikewriter, Travel Play Live,  Wild Women On Top amongst other publications.

We thank our friends who have joined us with good humour on some questionable walks, and all those who have generously shared information and suggested routes to us.

Yvonne and Alan
