Walk the NSW north coast – from the Clarence to the Macleay River

Looking for a challenge? Walk more than 200 km on the beautiful northern NSW coast from the Clarence River valley, the Coffs Coast, and beyond to the Bellingen, Nambucca and Macleay River valleys, then Port Macquarie
Take a wild coastal walk with sandy beaches, whale watching headlands, holiday villages and a few river crossings. Walk it end to end, or take it easy in a series of day walks. Walk Bundjalung, Gumbaynggirr and Thungutti country. Walk south, with the sun on your back, like the escaped convicts who made their way from Moreton Bay to Port Macquarie in the 1830s. Or walk north, like Major Henry Oakes who left his commission post at the Macleay River in 1840 to see what was up at the Big River (Clarence).
