Woolgoolga Headland Rockpools

A low tide wander around the rocky foreshores of Woolgoolga headland

Trail information

Woolgoolga Headland Rockpools

A sunny day, low tide and minimal swell is perfect to explore the pools and rock platform around Woolgoolga Headland. Take your time to look for sea creatures that hide in the rock cracks, to observe what has been washed up, to greet the fisherfolk, smile at the birds and smell the ocean. Life doesn’t get much better than this.

Wear strong shoes as the rocks can be sharp!
