The family-friendly Tweed Coast Cycleway runs from Pottsville to Kingscliff, with shady forest sections, boardwalks, creek and sea views, and many good choices for a coffee and food stops! The route is flat most of the way, with only one minor hill.

Starting from Pottsville, cross Cudgera Creek at Hastings Point. Stash your bike safely and climb the headland above Cabarita Beach for the views, a chance to spot some whales in season, and a historic aboriginal midden. Back on your bike, and on to Casuarina Beach and Salt Village, where the cycleway runs past some fancy homes, with curious sculptures hiding beneath the trees. Across Cudgen Creek, ride into Kingscliff and grab a drink while watching the surfers.
