End Peak

End Peak forest trail climbs from Swans Rd to a high point, with filtered views towards Coffs Harbour through the trees.

Trail information

End Peak

End Peak at 396m is the high point in Ulidarra National Park and visible from Coffs Harbour. The trail climbs through old forest from Swans Rd and then circuits the peak. It is a pleasant walk through wet sclerophyll forest and rainforest, you might recognise blackbutt and bungalow palms. Listen out for birds, there are at least 125 species in the park. Maybe you will see a koala?

There are filtered views over Coffs through the trees from the escarpment – better lookouts are at Sealy or Korora Lookouts. Signage at forest road intersections is limited, so pay attention to your map.

Swans Road is maintained as a 2WD dry weather road. End Peak can also be approached from Sealy Lookout – this is a shorter out and back walk, only 3.2km, but still challenging!
