Bonville Peak – Western Trail and Moodys Trail

There is a trig but not much of a view at Bonville Peak, but the walk is pleasant exercise.

Bonville Peak – Western Trail and Moodys Trail

We snapped a picture at the Bonville Peak trig, but our peak bagging satisfaction was diminished by the lack of a view through the trees. Also we’d climbed a nameless peak en route to Bonville that was higher! Somehow, it didn’t feel right.

Instead our satisfaction came from finding Moodys Trail and our way home without any geographical embarrassments. Astute observers may have noted some unplanned backtracking on our Devos Trail track, when we were dreaming of hot showers and not paying enough attention to the surrounds. Today we got it all right!
